Kent Council Council (KCC) has informed us that it will be necessary to close part of Sandpit Hill, Chislet, between 08:00 hours and 18:00 hours from 14th November 2022 with estimated completion by 15th November 2022.
Sandpit Hill, Chislet, will be closed from the northern side of Nethergong Wood, for a distance approximately 175 metres in a northerly direction, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is Sandpit Hill, Church Lane, Boyden Gate Hill, Highstead, Ford Hill, Maypole Road, Hoath Road, Babs Oak Hill, A28 Staines Hill, A28 Island Road, The Glen, Nethergong Hill and vice versa (see map below from Google).
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sewer maintenance works are undertaken by Southern Water.
